13.71 Change Log Notes:

Fixed an issue where the device would intermittently fail to save an activity.
Fixed an issue with bike lights staying on during non-cycling activities.
Fixed an issue where the elevation plot would intermittently double the distance while navigating.

Please note, the beta updates released on these forums are not suitable for APAC region devices.

Every software is beta, every software has bugs! Stop calling software ready to release while all today's software and future ones have bugs, bugs and more bugs hence no matter what, all software is in beta stage always. THX

Woot! I actually took a photo of my watch on Sunday because it was doing this and I wanted to report the issue. Guess I don't need to now!

Still no battery drain on Fenix 5 plus? 2 days on smartwatch mode. HORRIBLE

Either this beta or update 4.35.1 on android has broken livetrack autostart for me.

Downgraded to 13.00 and livetrack autostarts again

Thanks for mentioning that. I assumed a (newly installed) biking app on my phone was gobbling up events that the watch sent. However, LT also does not auto-start even with that app not active.

So this is something else than Livetrack being unavailable for weeks last year, because of a problem with GCM?

The GCM version on my phone is 4.35.1.

Just downgrading to 13.00 made it work again so yes, it is a problem with 13.71.

I'll report it. I'm leaving 13.71 on the watch, will use old original Fenix for the livetracking for the time being.
