Garmin Fenix 5X Plus Sleep Function Not Working Properly

I see posting that are over a year old on this issue. Mine started this about 1 month ago. It will record sleep but it only starts recording sleep at midnight. Anyone else encounter this and find a solution themselves or through customer support?

  • Maybe try changing sleep times in the settings of the connect app/express or directly on the watch?.... do you have an unusual sleep time... like in the day?... as the watch won't pick that up.. you can only manually change it in connect then unfortunately.

    Always a good idea to phone customer support... I'd make an email first with pics.

  • Thanks. My sleep pattern and time of night is quite regular. I'll give support a call.

    I did try changes the start/end times in connect with no success. Tried a watch reset and that may have worked for a few sleeps then back the same thing. It has work flawlessly for more than a year before this started happening out of the blue.
