WiFi Sync problems after 12.00 update

hey there,

has anybode else wifi sync issues after the 12.00 update?

it worked fine at my home wifi before, now the searching for network spins forever and then I get error 0800 although the network tests are succesful....

I‘m really getting upset, all couple of weeks, something else suddenly starts giving problems without any changes on my side

After several bluetooth and OHR problems, now even wifi starts giving problems....

Think I got it, after restarting all my WiFi equipment, syncing the watch once via cable on the mac, it seems to work again. Strange enough, only the watch had problems, all other devices worked fine. It seems the connection test does just test, if the watch can connect to the Wifi, but not if it can also get through to the garmin servers......or it was maybe the sync via cable which repaired wifi sync.

I have the same problem. My fenix 5 plus does not want to sync on any network. Resetting the wifi does not work at my case. Any solutions?

I also have the same problem, tried reseting router, tried reseting the watch and also tried removing saved network on watch and adding it again the problem is still there. Only way to sync is via bluetooth but also sometimes happens that it cant connect. Before V12 everything was fine...

me too. Same error. I've tried to revome saved network, restart router.

After v12 update, my Fenix 5x plus synchronizes the activity but the message "transfer failed" always appears.

after getting it working yesterday, today again problems. software quality at garmin is getting worser and worser, instead if fixing bugs we are getting more problems with each update

Instead of some wifi error message, I'm getting now a sync failed message while it seems that alle data is transfered, I just tested this with the steps amount, it is changing after a "failed" sync on the Garmin Connect webpage to the right amount, so the sync seems to happen, no clue why the sync failed message comes up........

Plus1 here! After the 12.0 update i can't seem to sync via WIFI anymore...

Solve some... break others...

For me in case of the message "transfer failed" all uploads from watch to Garmin seem to work but download from Garmin to watch failed.

I got it working as said above also: started garmin connect, and went to where you put the wireless credentials. There I got some warning I need to be logged in (it is stupid because I was logged win and couldn't be there in the first place if i wasn't), then put the login credentials of garmin connect and it remembered the networks and after sync all was working again.
