Fenix 5 + no auto upload true wifi

Hi all,

I have a problem with my 5+ not auto uploading true wifi. The auto upload function on the watch is on and the watch is able to connected to wifi but only if I give the command (connect to network).

I also have trouble sending online made workouts to my watch. When I wan't to send a workout (desktop, Chrome, Windows 10) using the Garmin Connect site nothing is happening. Only when I give the "connect to network" command on my watch, the workout is downloaded. It looks that my watch is able to connect to wifi, but isn't able to maintain a connection. Anyone?

I think this is the correct behaviour (same for me). The watch is going to connect wifi only when you order the command. It's a way of keep battery safe. Regards.

I still don't think thats's correct because in the manual it says:

"The device reconnects to this network automatically when it is within range."

So 11.0 is better than any earlier fw version as regards wifi auto upload. Since then 3 of 4 my activities were auto uploaded. The only one which was not was ended a bit away from our wifi network.

So my conclusion is that at best wifi auto upload works only if tje watch can find any known wifi network at the time of saving or not much time later.
