Garmin Pay stopped working

Until recently Garmin Pay has worked without issue on my Fenix 5 plus. However last week it said no cards registered until I updated Garmin Connect and everything appeared as normal. I also updated to ANT/BLE 4.30 this week. Today I tried using Garmin Pay and the retailer terminal did not register my watch.

Not sure which of the 2 events have broken things but just need to know how to fix

  • standard garmin bad work ...
    After a few upgrades the cards disappeared. No warning.
    I had to add them again, but now everything with ble 4.30 and fw 9.10 works

  • This sounds like exactly what happened with my Fenix 5 plus. Did you find a solution? I added the card back after it disappeared and it has not worked since then. The scanner does not pick up my watch when I hold it over it. BTW - mine also failed a couple weeks ago so it sounds like it might even have been around the same time yours failed. I hope this means it is a software problem and not a hardware problem.
