Garmin Pay stopped working June 2019 (Fenix 5s Plus)

Hello, my Garmin pay stopped working near the end of June 2019. I was just on a live chat with Garmin where they suggested doing a soft reset (holding down upper left button until the device shuts off). I'm going to test that later today. If that does not work then they have instructed me to try a master reset. Has anyone else experienced this issue when using the watch? I really do not want to do a master reset on this device.

When it happened to me, it had to do with issues at the bank. I contacted the bank, and they fixed it.

Mine is different. It's like the reader has no idea my watch is present. Nothing happens. I might has well be putting a rock up to the reader.

It just a guess, but have you tried removing the card from the wallet and then add it again ?

Take a look at gcm, if garmin pay is still available for your device. If yes, perhaps a sync will fix it, if not, add it again.

The soft reset did not work at all. I guess now I will try the master reset. This is quite frustrating!

Captain Jim Have you tried CMA-CPH and Volker suggestion of re-adding the cards information? If not, that would be the suggestion I would give you right after asking you to plug in your device and running Garmin Express to confirm everything is synced and up to date. If neither of those troubleshooting steps works, please reach out to the Garmin Support staff so we can work with you directly.

Thanks all for the tip. I've tried re-adding the card and that did not work but I will give Garmin Express a try and see if that lends itself to better results. Appreciate the responses.

Syncing up with Garmin express did not help. I will place another call to Garmin Support to see if this can be fixed.
