Fenix 5 Plus 7.60 - findings

I'm guessing your enthusiasm is sarcasm since I don't see anything in the change log about battery/power consumption improvements.

Is someone able to post gps, sensor hub etc versions?

I'm pretty sure its coincidence but today I had the best Open Water Swim GPS track i've ever had. It was almost spot on with only one small spike. My distance alerts were pretty much in line with the distance marker buoys (2.25k). Today I also upgraded to 7.6, before my swim, from 7.55 beta. There were no changes in GPS so its unlikely there were any changes to OWS but I thought i'd mention it as DCRainmaker mentioned he'd been testing new GPS and Firmware updates to the Marq and Forerunner to improve OWS. Hopefully those changes will make their way into the Fenix 5+. Anyone else noticed any difference?

Anybody still having a battery drain? My advice' either uninstall all malfunctioning, draining apps, widgets or watchfaces or get your unit replaced.

7.60 is even better then 7.50 and before.

Maybe I'm jumping the gun here but even if the expected time will go down (it will) this looks really promising!

What about the drain during an activity with GPS? That's when I've got problems since 7.10, I didn't have any issues before that. Now my battery drain is more than  10% per hour instead of around 5/6 before.

My ability to update Spotify downloads via wifi has stopped with this update. Sync always fails. I've removed and added the wifi network, rebooted wifi router, soft reset watch. Anyone else having Spotify sync issues?

Just tested mine and it works fine. Maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling the Spotify app.
