Messenger notifications not working after 17.28 update

After updating to 17.28 epix gen 2 (non pro) stopped receiving notifications from Messenger. Others apps like whatsapp are working jsut fine. Did anyone experienced similar issue? Phone is Galaxy S24+, but I doubt it has anything to do with the phone, since Messenger notifications stopped working after watch update.

Check the Garmin Connect app which apps are blocked. I did that accidentally. Maybe it is by coincidence and not related to the update

Thanks for the advice, but unfortunately that's not it. In Garmin Connect I can only turn notifications on and off - I cannot choose which apps are allowed to send notifications (it was possible with Venu 2, but not with epix 2).

Oh man, I was looking in the wrong place... How embarassing:) I was checking in GC, but in watch settings, not in general GC settings. Thank you everyone for help, problem solved.

I (iOS) do not have (or at least cannot find) that screen. Is this screenshot from iOS? Android?

It's from Android.

...-menu-> Settings-> Notifications-> App notifications
