Morning report swipe

Did touch swipe disappear in favor of Down button usage to engage Morning Report? Is this a new setting to change it back i cant find?

    well..my sleep hours 0-9AM last few days I woke up after 9 AM and I could unlock the screen swiping. today NOT. so it seems that it acts RANDOMLY. independent of sleep hours or what you say.

    more...which seems as an explanation...TODAY as I tried to swipe few times looking at the report screen..a popup notification from the smartphone arrived on watch. I did a swipe right to make it disappear, and yeah..for notifications, swiping worked, then the swiping for morning report was unlocked (by this action) and I was able to swipe. so..maybe u report this to the engineers. I assume that notifications arrive outside sleep interval...and removing them by finger ..."kills" the protection mechanism you described...enables swiping for morning Slight smile which explain the randomness, (in case you did swipe a notification before trying to swipe the report)

    so why I can swipe notifications but not morning report? ok..maybe I want to sleep more, but explain this because it's frustrating. If I swipe the notification and then I can swipe the report..this looks like a bug.

    "Once dismissed, the morning report cannot be opened again that day." It would be nice to have it as a Glance...If I lost it in the morning, because I was In a hurry...there's no problem, I can access it later.

    It's doubtful Garmin will fix this after such a long time. It works fine on MIP screens, and I recently switched to Fenix 7 Pro solar. Not because of the morning report, of course, but because of the AMOLED screen in general.

    It is doubtful, I agree, but they did just send a bunch of fixes for some things last week.  Just not this.  Like, why can't I add my name to the Morning Report like I can on my (also) 2022-era FR955?  Bizarre segmentation in UI between devices.

    For me it's still active issue - the touch screen most of the time does not react after a morning report is being shown (just after weaking up). I need to push one of the physical buttons (yeah Garmin asks if I want to close a report) but go back to the report and then it works well. Too bad, it is not fixed since a year or two now ? Sometimes it works, but it's rare.

    I have a EpixGen2.

    Do we have any updates on this ? So many updates I've installed since then and none of them worked with this one little "bug".

    Same here - and since I got this watch in Jul earlier this year. Initially thought it's a feature, but then I stumbled across this thread.

    And yes, in order to read the report, one needs to push one physical button first, cancel 'close the report?' request and then all works well and as expected.
