Data fields changed by themselves

I have the latest FW installed. Today during a run I noticed 4 fields on 2 screens had changed themselves to Timer. They had previously been things like pace and cadence.

I had this same problem about a year ago, and talked with Garmin through a few different channels. Their only guess was to try removing any Connect IQ watch faces or data fields. I did that, except for Stryd fields, and the issue went away, until today.

I haven't added anything to the watch since the last time I had the issue.

Something new today is while I was looking at the watch, it suddenly went into the mode of changing a data field - a window opened up where I could scroll through and select a field. So I actually saw it go into the mode to change a data field by itself, with no input from me.

I have touch screen turned off during activities.

Has anyone else seen this? Any thoughts on how to keep the watch from changing fields by itself?

I am have not personally seen what you have had happen. I am sorry there is an issue. My concern is potentially a bad button but you had it happen early on before it went away and your buttons have gotten you this far along fine.

If the behavior continues, there are two steps to try:

- Soft Reset your watch by holding down your top left button until your watch shuts off then let go of the button.

- Reset to Defaults in your System > Reset menu.

Hello

Sometime during the activiy, the watch switches to edit mode on a data field and you can select another type of field. 

If you are not careful another field is selected and you lose what you initialized
