Zwift rides syncing but showing zero training effect

My rides sync from Zwift to Garmin correctly, but in the list of activities, they show a training effect of 0.0

Is there something I can do, or is this a Garmin bug?

That's normal since only the Garmin connect activity logged with your watch should calculate training effect. The swift activity per se is just a log of the ride.

What I do is I use the Edge 530 (should be the same with the watch) and log the ride directly on it...so after my zwift ride, I end up with 2 activities in garmin connect, one logged by the garmin device (connected to my TACX) and the other synced from Zwift. I delete the zwift training on garmin connect and in Strava I delete the garmin ride....

so...Strava ride shows the zwift ride (with map, screenshots of the ride etc etc) and garmin connect shows the device logged ride...with power, HR etc etc. and all the garmin metrics.

Not what Rainmaker says. I also think this worked in the past, with my Fenix 6

i thought this used to work too, not sure what's going on. Maybe Garmin introduced a bug?
