How is swimming with Enduro (2 and 3)?

Hi there,

I have an Epix Gen 2, and I have heard stories about button issues when swimming with it.

How about Enduro 3? I would appreciate any experience you could share with Enduro's line (2 and 3).

I am assuming we cannot press the button inside the water. Is this still the case?

Any information would be welcome.

Enduro 3 has the same Buttons as Epix and F7. The F8 has water resistent buttons. E3 is slightly stiffer than Epix and 7 but the technic is the same.

Enduro 3 changes nothing for you concerning water issues.

So same potential issues as Epix Gen 2 while swimming? So with Enduro 3 I am assuming I can swin but cannot press the buttons under the water. Correct?

Yep. That's what the manual tells:

Enduro 3 Owner's Manual - Device Care (garmin.com)

However, I disobey the advice, and press the buttons (being aware of the risk) on my watches (mostly various models of Instinct) not only while swimming, but also when freediving or scuba diving, and never had a problem.

Thanks for answering. I have seen some reports about Epix Gen 2, swimming, and non responsive buttons.

Make sure you also always follow the previous instruction, if you want to avoid stuck buttons:
