Spotify stopped working

Two days ago Spotify stopped working, I tried to reinstall it, that went fine, but it just does not start up on my Enduro 2: pressing the hotkey (pushing the down key for a while), nothing happens. Selecting it from the menu, nothing happens…

I could do a factory reset and start all over again, but that just so much work. I finally got it all set up the way I like it.

Any suggestions? I am running 17.23

  • Just updated to 17.28, the issue remains: everything Spotify related is not working. Under Music Providers I see Spotify and My Music. I can not even enter the Spotify menu when selected using the Start/Stop button…

Removed the service, restarted the watch, added the service again, but to no avail. The issue remains. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

I am sorry to hear you are having trouble with this. For this, I would recommend confirming your Spotify premium subscription is still active. I would also recommend ensuring the phone's OS, as well as the Connect and Connect IQ apps are on the latest version. I would then recommend following these initial steps.

    1. Uninstall the Spotify app
    2. Complete a hard reset on the watch. For this, hold the Light button until the watch shuts off, as opposed to selecting power off. Then power this on again.
    3. Reinstall the Spotify app
    4. Then complete the Spotify set up with these steps: Instructions to Sync Spotify Music to the Enduro 2

If this is still not working, at what point does this fail? There have been some complaints of freezing when connecting with WiFi. So if this is freezing when the music is syncing, this may be related. However is the app is still failing entirely to open,  would recommend trying the factory reset with these steps:
