Solar charging slow

Hello,

Has anyone else noticed how slow the Enduro 2 registers it's getting the sun shining on itself? On my F6 solar and F6X solar it recognizes within 5 seconds. Sometimes the Enduro shows nothing after 5 minutes in pure sun. Also, in low light conditions the F6X might show 3 bars of sun activity and the Enduro only shows 1 bar. Seems with double the solar panel size the Enduro should register more every time.

I feel like I noticed it too. Now your case could be different but I think it's a software thing/bug. After reset while trying to connect to a different device I noticed it fixed itself. Give a go and let me know if just a simple reset of the watch fixes. it's definitely not a smaller solar cell than any of the other Fenixes.

It's the complete opposite. F7X/Enduro 2 is at least double the size.

I tried resetting it once, same results. What firmware version are you running?

I'm on the newest 9.36. But I feel like I fixed before it updated. When pairing to new a device I failed to mention in my initial response that I actually reset it few times. So maybe try a couple more? I hate for that to be a suggestion or an answer but It worked for me. Another test you could try to see if it's an actual solar charging issue is let it set in the sun for a few minutes and if it still looks like it's slow, do a manual sync in your Garmin connect and see if the solar intensity tab in garmin connect app displays more lux hours than your watch. If that's the case then it's likely just a software bug but you're still getting the full solar charging capability.
