I bought a Decent MK3 in Germany less than 6 months ago.
I am in Malaysia now and the charging clip failed so the watch can't be charged any longer.
Malaysia sells the same watch but with different maps thus it has a different SKU. Gamin's warranty states that they may replace devices under warranty unless they are not available in that country.
Garmin Malaysia wants me to deal with Garmin Germany due to the fact that their Descent MK3 has a different SKU. Of course the clip is the same as is on many other Garmin watches.
I think it's embarrassing behavior for a Euro 1200 watch when Garmin tries to stinge on replacing a clearly faulty accessory that costs them less than a Euro.
Did anyone else experience this shameful behavior?
