Turn off Popup alerts during dive when in "Silent dive" mode.

Hello,

I activated the "Silent Dive" mode in the menu but during the dive there are still popup alerts that appear for 3 seconds and hide the dive data !

Popups like "Fast ascent rate", "decompression stop reached", "decompression stop complete"....

Is it possible to not display these popups when we are in the Silent dive mode or to add an option to hide them ?

Thank you

  • Unfortunately no. I have asked Garmin several times to fix this usability problem by making the thresholds configurable or disabling certain alerts entirely but so far no response. It's really annoying. If I'm making a fast ascent it's intentional. I know what I'm doing and I want to see my dive data, not a useless alert.

  • Exactly, I think the same.

I just want a numerical ascent rate (not a non-configurable gauge) with no popup alerts.

For exemple the alerts of  "decompression stop reached" hide the depth between 6m and 3m during formation ascent exercises, which is painful.
