Smart Notifications are sent for ALL apps, although they're turned off in the Garmin connect menu

Hi,

I'm using the Descent Mk2i with Samsung S10 and Garmin Connect. I've got Smart Notifications enabled, but only for 3(!) apps. However, I'm getting smart notifications on my Mk2i for any app - although they're disabled in the Garmin Connect. The only way to turn them off, is to turn off Smart Notifications completely. But that's not what I want. I want them only for the 3 apps that I've enabled.

Is this problem known?

What I tried to fix it:

- Synch

- Restart watch and mobile phone

- Unpair and pair watch, full synch

Does anyone have a suggestion?

I'm having the same problem and it seems to be related to the Garmin Dive app as it only happens if Garmin Dive is installed. Looks like it overwrites the settings in Garmin Connect. Unfortunately, it's not possible to configure notifications in Garmin Dive - only of or off.

Solution: don't use Garmin Dive app...

No such issue here on v4.20 (AP Region) with dive app installed. Not a solution, just another data point.

I am having the exact same issue. I have turned off notifications for every single application and yet I still recive them on my watch. When is a fix coming?

Using a Decent MK2i with a google pixel 5.

Did you ever find a solution for this? I'm having the exact same problem and it is definitely linked to the dive app. The damn watch never stops and vibrates with every little notification day or night even though the notifications are turned off.

Sorry, I did not find a solution for this yet. Also, nothing from Garmin yet. Notifications stay off...
