Air Tank Pressure Transmitter for Descent MK1

Hello Everyone,

Does anyone know if there's air pressure transmitter as an accessory for Descent MK1 in order to monitor air consumption and record levels on the digital log?

Many of its competitors offer the option of wireless tank pressure transmitter which is in fact a really great feature.

If not do they have plans to release this accessory?

The Mk1 does not and it’s doubtful that it will with it already being 1 1/2 years old.

The Mk2 (or MARQ Diver) may have that option but be prepared to pay close to $2k or more.

The Mk1 lacks the hardware to communicate underwater with a tank transmitter. It only supports Bluetooth and WiFi, neither of which works underwater. This could be added on the Mk2, but Garmin has been very tight lipped on what their plans are for the Descent.

I am locking this thread as Mark has covered this, it is a hardware limitation and will not be an available accessory for the Descent Mk1.
