DLC Titanium Watch Band durability for the Descent MK1

Hello!
I hope everyone is doing well!

I am a happy owner of the Garmin Descent MK1 Titanium for a little while now and I really love it!
Everything has been really smooth and reliable.

The only issue I had was the watch band in titanium that was coming with it. It broke after 2 weeks. The clamp to remove it from the arm was not holding anymore. I am posting pictures to show what was the issue. The last picture show what the springs are supposed to look like from another part of the band. Surely, after reaching Garmin customer care, they sent me as soon as possible a replacement band which I appreciate.

I have now received the new band but I see some similar behaviours to the original one who had issues :
  • The clamp is simply too hard to open, it is just painful to operate.
  • The spring is so strong that the holes to retain the band are stretching far too much after only several uses

My questions are, to owners of the same band :
  • Am I using it wrong?
  • Is it supposed to wear like that at the beginning before stabilizing?
  • Is the clamp that hard to operate for you (at the beginning at least)?
    • Is it normal?

I thank everyone for their time and wish you a nice day! ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1409064.jpg ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1409065.jpg ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1409066.jpg
