Hi, how is it possible to watch the heart rate during a dive and in the dive log? I use the watch directly on the wrist when I wear a wet suit and an Hrm-pro when I use a dry suit.
Thank you in advance, Vito

You can only see live HR during a dive if you are only using your optical sensor. Your HRM strap can't communicate through water, even in a dry suit. You will still see your HRM readings for your recorded activity since your HRM-Pro will use the store and forward ability to provide your heart rate when you save the dive.
Thank you very much Chris, but I can't see this information in the Garmin dive app. Where can I find it?
If not seeing it, you will need to manually download the Heart Rate data and then it will show on your Garmin Connect account instead.
- How Does the Store and Forward Feature on My Heart Rate Strap Work?
Hey Brian, Chris is right - the heart rate data from your dive won't automatically show up in the Garmin dive app, but you can download it to Garmin Connect. The store and forward feature on the HRM-Pro saves the data during the activity and then uploads it later when bluetooth is re-enabled. It's a bit annoying you have to do that extra step, but at least the data is recorded! Once you download to Connect you should be able to see your heart rate info plotted on the activity.
Today ik tried it with the G1 and a Polar H10 strap. But what type of connection works better? Bluetooth or ANT+? I dive with a 5mm dry-suit in Holland. So will connect Bluetooth better of will connect ANT+ better while wearing the dry-suit?
