Trying to add card in Garmin Pay gets "Error, having trouble communicating to our servers"

I am trying to add my card, but when I filled up the data I got "Error, We're having trouble communicating to our servers"

I tried reconnecting the watch/reinstalling the app - same issue

When I go back into GarminPay I see the card listed but it says Pending verification, when I click on it - I see the same error msg

Can anyone help me solve this?

I had the same issue and I found a workaround. First, in the Garmin Connect app > Garmin Pay > Change Passcode > FORGOT YOUR PASSCODE?. By clicking that option, it will prompt you to reset Garmin Pay.…

I'm having the exact same issue after upgrading to a new Enduro 2. You can't even delete the card from your wallet. It's driving me nuts! Did you find any solutions?

Sadly no, even tried to contact support and they gave me generic answers

I had the same issue and I found a workaround. First, in the Garmin Connect app > Garmin Pay > Change Passcode > FORGOT YOUR PASSCODE?. By clicking that option, it will prompt you to reset Garmin Pay. After this is done, you have 2 options:

Option 1: if the app shows previously added cards, choose the card from the list. This may prompt for the card's CVC 3-digit code, then for a phone PIN verification and it should work.
Option 3: If Option 1 does not work, then you need to type in the card details manually again (Add Card > ...). This works consistently for me after resetting Garmin Pay but it may lose the picture of your card which is nice to have.
