Help - file import error "We don't support the file type you tried to import"

Hi,

I tried to upload an activity, but it won't sync to garmin connect. When I have then tried to manually upload i get the following error message "We don't support the file type you tried to import.". It's the first time I've had a problem syncing an activity from my Fenix 5, so I'm a bit stuck? File attached if that helpsE2EH2435.zip

What type of activity was this? Strength Training?

Some suggestions to help minimize the occurrence of corrupt fit files:

Sync your device then remove all activity fit files from your Garmin device using these directions - Removing Recorded Activities on a Garmin Fitness Device
Check for firmware updates using Garmin Express
If issues persist, contact Garmin Support

Your HRM caused the corruption. HRM-Pro, Pro Plus, Tri, and Swim will sometimes corrupt activity fit files.

Use the HRM download feature only after an activity where it was not possible to wear the watch
Update the HRM firmware Updating Software on the HRM-Pro/Pro Plus
During the HRM-Pro download process keep the strap and watch in close proximity
If issues persist even after the firmware update, contact Garmin Support
