&lt;p&gt;I recently bought a used Fenix 5+ and started experimenting with mapping.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I immediately realized that the&amp;#39; Use Map&amp;#39; option must be set in the Routing settings to enable the watch to reroute you as soon as you leave the preloaded course. As a hiker, I find rerouting crucial, as I might willingly or forcedly choose a different path.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;However, this setting makes the loading of new courses incredibly slow (the infamous &amp;quot;Calculating...&amp;quot; screen).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I understand the difference between track-based and route-based courses (loads of points vs a few highlight points), but I don&amp;#39;t understand how the former is conducive to insufferable waiting times. Besides, track-based courses are my standard way to produce courses for the watch (I use komoot, Garmin Connect as opposed to producing route-based courses in e.g. Garmin Explore.)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So questions:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Are you using Explore instead of all other tools (komoot, GC, Strava, GPX exported from wherever)?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Do you face this issue on your F5+? OR perhaps stronger watches (e.g. newer Fenix)?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I have a Fenix5X Plus that&amp;#39;s started to act up recently. The ANT_BLE_BT keeps getting deleted and going back to 0.00 every 2-3 days and the battery starts draining quite quickly. I&amp;#39;ve tried a factory reset, deleted all third party apps and faces, even installed the ANT_BLE_BT file manually and used the webupdater too. Nothing so far seems to fix this problem permanently.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Is there any other solution to this?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;And ideas as to what would happen if I deleted the entire Garmin folder from the watch through the PC? Would this get rid of any corrupted files?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Approximately 3 weeks ago my Fenix 5X Plus began connecting and disconnecting from my iPhone very rapidly during a workout. I turned off Bluetooth and finished my workout. This is my first Garmin watch and have had it for 3 years. I have never had a significant issue with it.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;When I tried to reconnect it to my phone a day later it would not connect. I tried soft resets and hard resets on my watch and phone several times to no avail. I removed it from Garmin Connect and tried reconnecting it with no results. I charged the watch and tried everything again but got no where. I bought new charging cables (as the old ones seemed to struggle to connect) and tried everything again. By this time my watch was running upwards of 12 hours behind and continued to run significantly slower than real time. I have tried connecting it to a computer but now it runs so slowly that when I turn it off and back on, it can take upwards of 30 minutes (or longer as I haven&amp;#39;t actually timed it) to go from the blue triangle to the time and then NONE of the buttons do anything.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I LOVE my Garmin watch and will buy another however I would like to get this one running again if at all possible!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Any thoughts would be appreciated.&lt;/p&gt;

I recieved it today and tried to charge it. It shows that it is charging (see picture below) but i cannot boot it. I have tried holding down the buttons according to other posts regarding Garmin Fenix 5 not turning on. One night I put it on charge, it was at just over 60% when I went to bed, when I woke up it was a black unresponsive screen. I have gone through all the files here and have plugged it into the PC, I&amp;rsquo;m finally getting a charging symbol that&amp;rsquo;s slowly&amp;nbsp;moving and getting charge, none of the green sensor lights on the back of the watch are working. It now keeps connecting to the PC, it will come up saying garmin updating maps etc then go to the triangle, and it keeps cycling that. Any advice on what to try.
