Enduro HR sensor lights not turning on

Hello,

I turned my watch off and on again. When I turned it back on the HR sensor green lights didn't turn back on. I've check to see if the HR sensor had turned off but it is still set to auto. Iv'e turned the watch on and off again since but still no return of the sensor.

Any help for a resolution would be great!

Weather not updating

My weather app is not updating on my enduro. It works fine on my Fenix 5x and Fenix 7.

No Solar Charge - Enduro

*** ojeff here. my Endoro watch has stopped charging using solar

I have carried out some basic troubleshooting including.

- Making sure the screen is clear and free of dirt

- Turning the device off / on

- Updated to the latest software installs

I also contacted Garmin through the online troubleshooting portal and was advised to carry out the following steps

- Do a soft reset

- put outside for an hour to see if solar gets picked up

- Check my solar widget logs on connect

This does not appear to have picked up any charge :(

- My device is a Garmin Enduro (nott Enduro 2)

- softrware v 26

My question is will a factory Default possibly help? Or does anyone have any other troubleshooting I could try

Change informaton on screen when in workout or navigation (course) mode?

Is there a way of changing the informartion screen when I'm for instance doing a run and have started a workout (then Training>Workouts) . At the moment I see the timer or pulse/pace gauge on the upper half and Step Pace and Step dist in the lower half. Is there a way of changing the two latter?

Also when I'm in navigation mode when doing a run (then navigation>courses>do course) is there a way of seeing for instance pulse on the screen in addition to the map?

I know that you can push up and down to get different screens, but that takes you away from the workout or navigation-screen. Sometimes you want to both keep an eye on the pulse and that you´re on the right track.

Can't install 26.00 - Enduro (Resolved)

Had my enduro v1 since first came out.

Every year or so I have had problems with "running out of room" errors, I synch basically every day via the iphone app.

Now, I can't do an update from software v25.10 to 26.00 it tries and just silently fails on the watch. Using Garmin Express app on MacBook i get the error "We're unable to install the updates. The latest software does not fit on your device's internal memory. Please contact Product Support for help with updating your software."

I done a "Delete all activites." there is now NO activities in my GARMIN > Activity folder.

Garmin Express mac app shows 8 of 32 Connect IQ APps installed. 3.0MB capacity, 2.6MB Free.

Mac Info shows garmin drive has 49.3 MB Capacity, 2.8MB free.

I've been through all the folders, removed languages, activites, etc. there is nothing left unusual.

What can I do?

Pace is way off

First of all, I am using an Enduro with the HRM pro (Pace setting is "Indoor"), so I am not sure whether this is an Enduro or HRM Pro issue. I have noticed on my runs, that the Pace data is very inaccurate (for example I finished a 10k Race in ~36min, GPS data seemed fine ~9.8km but the Pace was hardly ever faster than 4:00 and in mean gave me 4:09).

First of all, am I correct to assume that the pace is computed via the stored GPS data, or does it come from some acceleration sensor?

Secondly how can I improve this data?

Noisy signal altimeter, overestimation elevation

Hello everyone,

Owner of an Enduro (Fénix 6 Base) software 26.00, I have noticed an overestimation of the elevation.

Looking at the altimeter profile on Connect (not visible on other applications such as Strava which tends to smooth the visual), I notice a “noisy” signal from the altimeter. It doesn't seem like much but these interferences of 1-3 m cumulative on 25 km give me a difference of 1200 mD+ instead of 995 mD+ which is usually very repeatable at +/- 5mD+. The altitude is correct, it’s this accumulation of interference which tends to distort the elevation.

In Image, we can observe the degradation of the signal by comparing the same profile between March and September. The trace is now much less "clean".

The watch is systematically whashed with clean water. No difference in setting compared to usual. This is a reconditioned watch sent by Garmin following an SAV return in August 2022.

I got this sw update and the interrogation scene of the movie, Marathon man came to my mind:

"Is it safe?

Yes, it’s very safe, it’s so safe you wouldn’t believe it.

No, it’s not safe at all, it’s…very dangerous, be careful"

My bet is that it must be related to Compass and some sort of database used to define in which direction exactly magnetic north is exactly at each location on (and around :-) ) the Earth.

But since I have never ever seen this sort of sw update I felt it was necessary to ask whether this update was really intended or just a fake update that I once saw for Edge 530 (I mean Routable map for 530, while with this device one cannot generate routes using addresses)

update 26.00 - Incorrect speed and distance

I've noticed that since the update which made some modifications to the gps. That the speed and distance are incorrect. for me they're about 24-28% slower than they should be.
e.g. on my phone gps speed is 25 kmph, while my garmin enduro gps speed is 18-19 kmph

This speed difference affects the recorded distance, so i can see my normal activities being all shorter in distance now.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Definite tendency of LOWER than real optical HR (OHR, WHR, wrist heart rate)

I have right now a Fenix 6X and an Enduro. I observed that my Enduro has a tendency to read lower OHR /WHR than real. Certainly I swapped the watches between my wrists setting properly the wrist option (left or right) in their settings always. And I played a lot with the strap of Enduro, made it loose, made it tight, made it semi-tight.

Of course, before some of my comparison tests I cleaned both watches on the bottom just in case....

Note: I also compared the reading of OHR / WHR to the HR number coming from my Garmin HRM-3 strap, and used the latter as a reference apart from my own "HR opinion".

Let me not that both watches use the same, latest software versions.

Sub-cases, HR ranges:

1) I can say that during sleep the difference is tiny, just 1-2 bpm, 55 bpm, vs 56 bpm

2) if I stand up the difference can be 5-7 bpm immediately. like 75 bpm vs 81 bpm

Note: assuming that Enduro is slower than F6X in terms of CPU speed and/or has a less frequent data sampling I can justify this difference, but only for 15-30 seconds, not constantly.

3) doing upper body-related repeats (eg. leaning back and pushing back the chair-back with extra weights to be applied) in gym lasting 1-5 minutes results in an error of 10-15 bpm.

In other words if my real HR is above 110 my Enduro tends to be capped at the level of 100-110, while my Fenix 6X reads properly in the range of 110-130, although sometimes the latter also has a lag, but I consider it to be normal and acceptable..

4) the same is true as desctibed in point 3 when I walk either on flat or on climbing paved streets.

Some sort of conclusion is that the higher my real HR, the higher the error in absolute terms, and it is always on lower side.

Final note: I have not tested the OHR / WHR of Enduro while runnning, because I did not want to ruin the data of my activities.

Good morning, with the update to firmware version 26.00 I am experiencing continuous reboots when I start a new activity, a new Garmin coach activity, attach a route to an activity already in progress or occasionally when saving the activity I just completed. The restart also results in the loss of temporal fitness status information between synchronization with the Garmin connect app.

Race Widget on Enduro 1?

Will Enduro get the Race Widget? I.e., customised suggested daily workouts towards a primary and secondary future events set in the calendar etc.

It is a shame if these functions are on much cheaper watches but do not come to the Enduro.

And I guess they are purely software so Garmin should be able to update the watch with them.

Asian characters on Enduro

Why isn't my Enduro capable of showing Asian characters (Japaese) but my kid's FR55 is? Is FR55 in any way better than Enduro? Both devices were purchased in the same store in Croatia (Europe). Why am I not allowed to install additional (Japanese) language pack? Is it too much to ask?

Rebooting during activity

26.00 issue - route has changed color

After the 26.00 install, my course lines are all a shade of red, vs green and white, as they used to be. It is much harder for me to read with the new color scheme.

I can't find a setting that allows me to go back to the old scheme. Does anyone have a workaround, or is experiencing the same issue?

Hello, When loading a large course (100 miles) on my Enduro, the climb preview tells me there are no climbs. Is there a problem with Garmin's software ?

GARMIN ENDURO SCREEN DIAMETER FOR SCREEN PROTECTOR?

Hi, I just bought a Garmin Enduro (1) and I am waiting to arrive. It will take 2-3 weeks so I want to buy a screen protector too. Anyone can tell me the exact diameter (in milimiters) please? I can find the screen dimension on Garmin site but the glass is a little bigger than the screen... and I can not find this information ... even tried chat gpt with no reliable results. Thanks!

GPS getting worse

My enduro Gps tracking is getting worse, off track with drifting too muchhh.

I have tried with all setting ( GPS only, GPS with GLONASS / GALILLEO) but no luck. The situation getting worse with data recording - every second turned on.

This doesnt note happen with my FR55 ( of course, same route, same time). I cant believe a top tier gps watch like enduro has this bad performance. I cant even update to the lastest firmware to see if the problem solved as my watch is in SEA version.
