Request feature to set last deco stop

Please give us the option to choose our last deco depth. It's already a function on the mk2 and up. But the mk1 automatically plans the last stop at 10ft.

I would love to see me choose my own last stop like at 20ft for instance. Sometimes with waves or heavy boat traffic that's just a bit more safe to do

Is there any way to view all recorded dive locations on a single map?

HR sensor inconsistent between run and SUP

HR sensor when running is far more accurate, but when i do rowing (SUP) heart rate is far below acurate. Anyone have same problem? and what is the solution?

Computer is not working normally and altimeter and compas not working also!

Garmin MK1 - outdoor compass and dive faliure!

i have an issue, the compass is not moving. tried to calibrate it manually and others but nothing happened. still frozen.

also adding to this while diving the depth goes crazy and after the dive the computer does not stop and feels it is still in depth for hours.

i feel that it is a very risky and hazard wearing it now as i dont get where is the issue. i calibrated the altimeter and I did so many resets but nothing fix it!!

what shall i do to feel safe with my MK1? what is the solution for such an item that supposed to be our safety tool?!!!

hope Garmin can support urgently, it is very frustrating.

Mk1 decent broken

our watches are 100% broke and can not be used to dive. After this last update they are unusable. Mine will not turn on his can’t read altitude. We spoke to garmin did everything they can’t be fixed. Anyone else have this problem? I believe it’s the update they just did both watches were working perfectly until we updated. Nov.1.23. They are like brand new we only use them when we are scuba diving. Very well taken care of and garmin is offering 30% off their new watch. I find this offer a slap in the face. And they want the old watch back that they say they can’t fix. I paid for the watch even if I took the 30% off I’m not giving my broken watch back it’s the point. I’m dealing with the worst customer service ever!! Clearly their new software broke both watches when we plugged them in and updated everything. They both broke right after that!!

GPS Tracking Issue on Descent MK1 Dive Computer

I've been using the Descent MK1 dive computer for a while now, and overall, I'm quite pleased with its features. However, I've recently encountered a bit of an issue with the GPS tracking function. It seems that the GPS tracking accuracy is not as precise as I expected.

During my last few dives, I noticed that the recorded dive locations weren't entirely accurate when I reviewed them on the map afterward. The dive sites appeared to be slightly off, which is a concern for me, especially when I'm trying to document specific locations for future reference.

Lost Pin in Titanium Strap

Working as a Diving Instructor in Bali, Indonesia.

Somehow approx 1 year ago while diving a pin fell out of my titanium strap.

there was no Garmin centre ready to help with the repair so a friend of mine who was flying to Jakarta in order to meet with Garmin in regards to becoming their official representative here in Bali took the strap with him.

They didn't repair it they gave him a Stainless steel strap instead which lost a pin after just a few weeks use last september.

I have messaged Garmin numerous times, messaged their service centres here in Indonesia and never receive a reply.

The customer service in this particular case has been awful, if and when i have heard anything back its basically somebody telling me to go ask somebody else.

How do i fix my strap??? paid and arm and a leg for the thing, even just that it broke in the first place is a major disappointment.

my best guess would be to send it to service team in Jakarta but they wont even respond to my emails.

garmin express with windows won`t recognize my mk1

it was working fine . now all of a sudden it won`t connect to the express app on windows 11. i plug in the usb to the laptop and the watch will charge but not recognized by the laptop or the express app. i tried powering off the watch , different cables,and uninstalled and reinstalled the express app. any ideas?

Descent mk1 menu button des not work and dead not charge

My Descent MK1 during a dive re/booted! After dive menu button no longer works. Switched off and re-started set to factory settings but the menu button seems not to work anymore! Keeps on looping asking to reset deep sensor! Moreover does not Charge!

I live in Italy any suggestions?

My Apnea hunt mode stopped working

one day it was fine now it does not switch on when I dive

I have tried rebooting the watch , software upgrades, warm water clean of sensor - nothing seems to work - the watch seems to have stuck on last time it worked

Any ideas on how to get the sensor working again

Hi, I might be a bit picky, but my watch is always 20 seconds ~ 30 seconds slower than my computer time after syncing. I understand this isn't a big deal but just wondering if anyone has this problem and/or knows how to fix this? 🙂 Thanks!

I apologize if they is a foolish question. If your just snorkeling around or beach swimming, what mode should you use? I know I could use Pool mode when doesn't record anything. But is there an activity that is better?

Garmin dive app overwriting exit location

Sinds march 9th. When editing my dive in Garmin dive app. The app overwrites my exit location with the entry location of my dive. I can't change this back. I am able to edit other fields perfectly. Just not the entry/exit location.

Please fix!

Clear user data on startup

After a dive today I noticed the back button wouldn’t work. So I tried restarting. Upon restart I get a clear user data prompt. I click no and it returns immediately. If I click yes then it freezes. I was able to to go and restore factory settings at one point but now all I get is clear user data prompt or the controls screen that you are unable to do anything with. Please help!!!!

Change Log

Added the Dive Setup > No Fly setting, to allow choosing between DAN's no-fly guidance and the previous flat 24-hour timer.
Added a new page to the Surface Interval widget to allow seeing detailed no-fly information, including when the timer will expire.
Dive logs can now be deleted like other activities. Deleting a dive may cause dive numbers to get out of sync until the next sync with Connect.

How to Prevent Garmin MK1 from Recording Entry & Exit Locations on Dive

Hi all,

I'm wondering if there is a way of disabling the Entry & Exit locations on a dive?

I would still love to record the other dive information, but the Garmin apps share your locations with any of your contacts, which I don't want. I have tried changing privacy, and a friend showed me after I did that that he could still see where I'd been diving.
