Is there a way to change the par on a hole when a Temporary Tee box is being used. We currently have a par 5 that is now a Par 4 due to reconfiguration work?

I just charged my S40. Went to turn it off and it went to system page then to colored squares that I can change the colors by arrows. Cannot get to another screen, cannot turn power off.

After charging my S40, I tried to turn off. It went to a system page, then after holding the power button again, it went to colored squares with arrows up and down. hit power button again, and the arrows are now left and right. Cannot get off this screen, power button willl not turn the S40 off.

S40 golf mode and use the 3 minute timer?

I cannot see how to use a timer to check for 3 minutes whilst I'm in golf mode, does it work or not?

Playing Handicap still not fixed

So I'm going to try again and see if someone at Garmin will finally answer. The Playing Handicap calculation is wrong. It seems to work on Slope only rather than Course Rating and Slope. Since the new system was introduced over 2 years ago, I would have thought a simple software update to fix this could have been implemented by now

Cannot track putts on s40.

Hi there,

I can't track putts unless I input them manually after a round.

After each hole the watch will ask for my score, but will not then go to fairways and putts, it goes straight to the next hole, whereas my friends s62 will ask for fairways and putts after each hole.

Is there anything I can do? It's driving me mad!

i do have follow all steps from latest update website and forum;

i do connect to garmin connect and garmin golf;

i do updated my golf course and do "eject" my approach;

i do reset and delete all data;

i do go to nearest service center;

but still didn't solve my problem.

any advice? or any step i missed out?

S40 and CT10 sensors

I have added a 7 Hybrid to my bag in the Garmin Golf App but is does not sync to my Garmin watch or CT10 sensors. The sensor appears as Unknown Club. How do I fix this?

Garmin Golf App on Android so slow!

It can take over 30 seconds to open the Garmin Golf App on my Android Phone.

I often get the message "Garmin Golf is not responding do you want to close it" - with options of Wait and Close!

If I choose Wait it will eventually open - but the App is sluggish to use - all other Apps on my phone are OK.

I've tried removing cached data.

I've tried removing and reinstalling the whole App!

Is there anything else I can try?

Does Approach S40 support 2 players scoring?

About a year ago, my golf club had to change the strokes on the course. As a result, when I try to score using my watch, I am given incorrect Stableford points on some of the holes. How do I change the strokes on my app / watch or alternatively, how do I get the course details updated

Distance to dogleg??

Hey all,

I hope you don't mind me asking this here, as I actually use a vivo active 4s, but thought there might be more over here that could know the answer?

Obviously on my watch I can view the distance to layup options as well as to doglegs. But what I don't know is if the distance to dogleg is to the start of the dogleg (so you want to hit it further), or if it's too the centre of the doglegs, so a good target distance.

Just hoping someone might know? Thanks in advance!

Do any of you have an Garmin S40 watch If so, what do you think about it off the course? I've seen a few reviews but none of them talk about it when they're not playing golf.

Good day all, First I have a Fenix 6 pro, but there no option for golf and fenix.... When I put my score Hole by hole with my garmin fenix 6, for a 18, that give me this (picture)

Why I have the total score of my 18 on the first 9 and on the back 9 I have 0... its kind of anoying. Thanks for your help (everything is up to date). I try to put manually with my phone its work ok.

Accidently discarded round on Garmin golf app

While editing my latest round of golf on the golf app, I accidently discarded the round. Is it possible to recover this? The round was successfully saved to the app but it was during editing it that I lost it. Thanks for your help.

Playing Handicap calculation is wrong

The Garmin calculation of playing handicap using index/slope is wrong. This issue has been raised a number of times across these forums for over 1 year and still has not been answered or fixed by Garmin.

At my local course, my playing handicap should be 14 but Garmin calculates it as 15. I am almost certain that this is because Garmin ONLY considers the Slope of the course but ignores the Course Rating. It's very frustrating that I need to manually adjust my handicap every time I play (or change course) for the lack of a simple software fix.

Can Garmin please take this issue seriously and fix it.
