S2 loses satellite

I don't see a forum for the S2 so will ask here. My S2 now loses satellite after half a round. Battery power seems fine and when I end round and restart the round it magically finds the satellite again so I usually have to do this 5 or 6 times during a round which makes scoring on my watch impossible. If I don't end the round it will just keep looking for a satellite. I am usually able to go at least 6 or 7 holes before the problem first appears. I have tried soft and hard resets and updated courses. Could it be possible that the battery is the culprit even though it will still last a full round? Any other ideas besides buying a new watch?

Round not showing in 'Activities' on Garmin Connect

I played my first golf round with the S20 this week. The scorecard has uploaded to Garmin Connect, as has my steps etc. It does not show in "Activities" so I don't get a trace of my round on a map showing the route I walked (as for example I get when cycling with my Edge 510). How can I get this to register my round as an activity?

I am having the same issue. I have the Fénix 7 and everything syncs correctly to my strava account but the golf. I have activity tracking selected to "on" But still if I play golf it is not recording as an activity so it is not showing on my strava account PLEASE HELP. Garmin-Cody

CT10 and SuperStroke Putter Adapter

I've been looking for a solution to mount a C10 adapter to my SuperStroke putter grip. After countless hours of research, most of the DIY solutions are a bit of work and they still don't look great. I've been using one for about half a year and it fell off, which led me to make another one.

Fortunately, I was playing a round this fall with a member who had a CT10 attached to his putter flawlessly. I asked where he got it and there's a company called Only Bogeys [link removed] that makes this adapter.

I've been using it for the last few weeks and it is the perfect solution. You simply unscrew the SuperStroke cap, screw in their adapter, and screw in the SuperStroke into it. It holds it supertight and sits flush with the putter.

A bit pricy but well worth it as you'll spend quite a bit of time making one for something that doesn't work as well and doesn't look as nice.

Just thought I would share this setup as I'm sure many are in the same boat.

CT10 Sensors

Do not buy the CT sensors they don’t work properly and Garmin have taken 6 months to reply after sending them numerous emails for support.
they are awesome when they work, however I’ve changed batteries 4 times now and repaired each device and they are not reliable.
Garmin please send me another set and I will happily try again or refund my money.

I realised that my batteries often went flat as i regularily removed my putter from the golf bag, so its either sitting up against a wall, or in the back seat of the car. Since i changed that habit, my batteries dont go flat. LIke i take off the CT10 if i go do putting practice

the CT10 is on whenever it detects light.

The concern you have is likely due to the account you logged in with, not being the same account you have your scorecards stored and synced to, this is why they are not showing in the scorecards menu.

I recommend logging into the email for the account your scorecards are synced to and you should see them re-appear.

Garmin Connect and Golf Watch lost all rounds. WHY???

I lost all my previous rounds (at least 150) both on my watch and on the App. WTF!! All of these rounds were there a month or so ago. I played a round yesterday and went to upload it and it cant find that or any of my previous rounds. Whats going on.??

Ct10 not working for my 5 wood. Only had 3 weeks and was working until a few days ago. Tried to reassign and won’t work. Is it the battery and if so would it be covered, it shouldn’t fail after 2 weeks or is something. Wrong with the actual sensor? Same thing happened for the hybrid the first week, but it did work when reassigned. Should any of this be happening with a new set?

Garmin does not recommend performing the steps above, and doing so may risk permanent damage to the sensors, and will any warranty coverage on the sensors.

Contact Garmin Support directly if you have concerns with the sensors so an actual expert can determine the cause of the issue, and the solution going forward for you.

We would not recommend users self repair, as this may risk damaging the sensor. Reaching out to Garmin Support directly will allow an expert to discuss the concern through a series of steps to determine the cause of the issue.

There is not a design flaw in the sensors causing them to make faulty contact with the battery. The steps above are not suggested to be performed by Garmin.

SOLVED!!!!!!!
The same thing happened to me and this is how I solved it
1) Open de CT10 by removing the black cap
2) Remove the battery and test it if you have a voltage meter
3) with the point of a blade knife very carefully bend inwards a little bit the copper contacts on the side and upwards the plated contact in the middle
4) put back the battery (or a new one if depleted) with the + polarity up
5) reassemble the cap and try it

In my case the two non working CT10 came back to life. To me, it is a design flaw wich makes a faulty contact between the battery and the device

Same thing happened here, fixed in two minutes.
Open the battery cap and remove the battery (test it if you have a voltage meter)
In two out of my three sensors I only bent a little bit the copper contacts, those on the side and that one in the middle, so assuring a better battery contact. Tried them and both worked perfectly.
It could be a design flaw

Is there a way that Garmin can recalculate the distance based on the mode? This is the number that occurs most often in a data set. That would solve a lot.

I would like to see Badges for

- Breaking 100 / Breaking 90 / Breaking 80 / Breaking 70 etc.

- Breaking PAR

- Bogey-free round / Double-Bogey free round / Triple-Bogey free round

- Season with more Par then Bogey

Also I would like to see stats:

- Amount of Birdies / Pars / Bogeys / Double or Worse (compared to last season)

- Total amount of time spent on the golf course (this year, this month, etc.)

- Amount of Eagles / Birdies for a particular hole

- Most birdies in a round

I would make sure that the sleep/wake times set in the Garmin Connect application on your phone are set close within the times you typically go to bed. If the time is incorrect or set later it will cause the watch to not track properly.

The Approach S20 utilizes the most basic form of sleep tracking, which begins tracking when movement decreases significantly for a consistent period during the sleep/wake times you have set for your account in the Garmin Connect app the watch is synced to.

Sleep Tracker Starting Bed Time is Wrong

Sleep Tracker shows the wrong start of sleep time about 25% of the time. I.e, if I went to bed at 11 it might say 12;30 AM. It seems accurate when I get up in the morning.

The golf data from the S20 shows on Garmin Connect put does not show on Strava, any ideas peeps?
