Track color does not change (worked before)

Using montana 700i, software version 16.50 with latest maps / firmware

I cannot change track color after pressing the GO button, this worked before.
It is hard to see how a track is running, since the color is almost the same as
the map color. Also I cannot change the map color (see previous post)

home / saved tracks / select a track.
Set Color property for example to RED
Set Shown on map to true
goto the map (the color of the track is shown RED: that is fine)
click the GO button (the color of the track is the default blue again, and is almost not visible)

When you select 'Go', you are asking the Montana to navigate the track, which results in a 'route' line or 'navigation' line being laid directly over it, and this line is always magenta on Garmin handheld units. You will not be able to see the red track underneath until you STOP navigating that track.

Well I don't think so. I've always used it this way. This I know certain because otherwise I can't hardly see the
track I'm using. That is why I always changed the color before pressing the GO button and started navigating
with the chosen color. A blue map (day) color (which I can't change any more, but this is another issue) with magenta
track is very difficult to see. Especially while navigating in for example cities. This why I always changed the color while tracking.

You can change the color of the track log any time you like, but any time you are navigating a saved track it will overlay a magenta line to follow.

See photos and previous answer. worked before updating to 16.50.
Track not visible now, while it worked like described in my first post.

I am unable to duplicate any issues with my Montana 700 and 750i both v16.50.

If you liked how a previous firmware version worked better, reload it on your device.

Maybe try it on a Montana 700i.
I do not think that downgrading to a previous version is a good
solution to broken functionality.
