My wife just bought me a Garmin Inreach Explorer + and I think it is set up correctly. I use it for dual sport riding in the desert because I ride by myself. When I start tracking and then go to maps to check my progress, it is tracking me but the distance at the bottom of the display shows "-". This unit should be able to tell me how far I've gone in the maps section on the Garmin unit shouldn't it. I've done a reset and made sure the firmware is up to date. Any help is appreciated.
