I've got a Garmin tempe sensor for looking at temperature, which works with some Garmin watches and the etrex support via ANT+ I think.
Given that the inReach mini supports ANT+ for talking to a watch, I'd love to see this extended to allow me to read out the temperature from tempe.
I think it would also make a fantastic safety feature if the current temperature was logged along with the track logs, and sent along with the emergency signal. First responders could spot easily if there was likely to be a need for a faster assist.
