erratic accuracy on 1yr old x40

I have an x40 that is about one year old. I play the one course and It has begun to have days of inaccuracy (20-40 yds off, high and low), and days of good accuracy. What would cause this oscillation?

I have the same problem since 28 june 2020. The accuracy is sometimes exeeded by 30 yards, in perfect weather conditions. I never saw this behavior before 28 june. Maybe an issue in a recent update ?

I did contact product support. The only suggestion they could offer was to send it in, but it was not under warranty anymore so the only thing that could be done would be to send me a refurbished watch for around $90.
