Setting the "Slope/Index" setting

When I select the 'Slope/Index' setting in the 'Golf Settings" menu, I only see on the next screen the term "Index" but not "Slope". What do I input (by clicking on either the '+' or '-' buttons) to indicate the Slope rating indicated on a course's scorecard?

Hello. I have doubts regarding the preloaded slopes for 2 courses I played recently as they both gave me a wrong number of shots. Is there a way to edit/amend the slope of a course?
