Watch keeps notifying that phone is connected

Even when I'm sat right next to my phone (on my desk) when at work I'm getting annoying "phone connected" messages on the watch.

How do I stop these notifications?

    To turn off those alert notifications of connecting/disconnecting, you will do the following:

    - Hold down your button

    - Just above the gear wheel at the very bottom, press on phone connected

    - The 2nd option from the top is connected alerts

    - You can toggle the setting off going from green, on, to gray, off.

    Note: the connecting/disconnecting alert is your smartphone balancing your battery life by turning off the connectivity since Bluetooth is a battery impact. When the alert showing on your watch is turned off, your smartphone will continue to push your smart notifications to your watch and your saved golf scorecards will still sync shortly after you saved them.
