I am a long time Garmin Approach user. I upgraded from the G6 to G8 in large part because the G8 added WiFi for course and firmware updates. Dealing with the Garmin Mac apps and drivers for USB updates had been very frustrating and unreliable -- WiFi updates were a huge improvement.
I recently bought the G80, adding the launch monitor functionality. But, I've been searching the menus and can find no way to connect to WiFi. I can connect to Bluetooth, but see no upgrade option in the Garmin Golf app.
Can any more experienced G80 users set me straight? Please tell me I'm missing something and WiFi is there somewhere. They couldn't have left this out of their $500 top of he line device, could they? If WiFi is not there, this thing is getting boxed up and returned -- I'm hoping not. 10.0.0.0.1
