Fixed issue to ensure we use teebox, par and handicap data from downloaded auto course update files.
Fixed issue with front/back dots not showing on Green on main golf page.

After linking Garmin Approach12 to Garmin app on phone, Can not locate any golfcourses

After linking approach to garmin app I can not find any golf courses.. When standing on two previously found golf courses trying to get Garmin on, I am notified that "No Courses found."

I updated to software version 5.00 last weekend. Went to play on Tuesday, got a "Cannot Unlock Maps" error

I have uninstalled and re-installed Garmin Express on my Windows laptop, and while Express shows my device connected, repeated attemps to "refresh" fail to sync my device

I did a reset to factory values using the 'settings' menu on the device, figured that I would re-load all maps like day 1, but still cannot get a 'refresh' to Express

I need help

Course update frequency

We are a long-time Garmin family ... with numerous running/fitness/lifestyle watches enjoyed by all of us. I need to upgrade my golf watch and would love to get a S70 ... but instead I am considering switching to a completely different brand.

Why? Because Garmin's course update policy makes their watches only useful some of the time.

I have been told that Garmin provides course updates 'periodically' (3 times per year), in spring, summer and autumn. Not very good for those of us in the southern hemisphere who golf year-round (including all through the North American winter!). Why would I want to wait 6 months until the North American spring?

The value of a golf watch resides in the accuracy of the course information. Our course was updated more than 3 months ago ... and I am still waiting for Garmin to reflect the changes. Quite disappointing.

My question: when will Garmin increase the frequency of its course updates??

stableford instead of strokeplay

Does anybody know how to change the score method from strokeplay to stableford in the g12 approach device. I tried everything. Have not find a setting, not in the device itself nor in garmin express or garmin golf app.

In the Netherlands we play standard stableford.

CT10 Sensors being discontinued.

I just tried to purchase a full set of CT10 sensors on the Garmin site. There was no option to add the full set (14 sensors) to the cart, only the starter set. I opened a chat with Garmin, and was told that these are being discontinued. I asked about a newer version coming out, or another option, and was told that there is nothing planned. Does anybody have any further information? I ordered a set from Amazon, but these seem like a popular item to just discontinue without a replacement.

S10 Approach can no longer be powered off

After taking the latest update, I can no longer power the S10 off.

Pushing the i button for a second brings up the Power Off option on the screen and I can scroll down/up for Yes or No but pushing the OK button does nothing and the S10 stays on. The OK button does however work for any other function. Hoping that someone can help me. Thanks in advance.

Just bought a S12 and see that to measure shots you should press ok select Measuring shot and walk to ball. In the menu I have selected shot measuring before going onto the course. Will I able to automatically measure my shots or do I have to select it every time

It seems like I got a problem pairing my 7 Wood with a CT 10 sensor, it pairs/name it 3 Wood witch I do not have/use all 13 other sensors working 100%

G8 Performance Stats Not showing - I have both a Approach G8 and Vivoactive HR. My data uploads and I can see scorecards and course performance data, but I cannot see performance data such as drive, putt etc as compared to similar handicaps.

Feature request: stroke counter

As the subject states, I would like to make the request to add a feature that enables us to count the strokes using the G12 (not to be confused with manually updating the scorecard after each stroke!). I currently still carry a stroke counter which feels a bit off / unnecessary to me since I also carry the G12. I also think this feature would be beneficial to lots of other devices. Maybe there are already plans to come with a software update for the G12, then I'd love to see this being included. And maybe anybody on this forum already knows about these plans? Or maybe this feature is already on a backlog somewhere to be picked up? Then of course please let me know!

How do I export golf data that is posted in garmin connect to my PC?

I have downloaded my golf data from my garmin 10 to the garmin connect website. is it possible to download that data to my PC? What I am trying to do is see how i have done over my last 10 rounds vs my earlier rounds to determine if my skills have improved

Where can I see the data I was shown at the end of my round?

Why are my scorecards not syncing, there are 6 'fit' files in the scorecard folder on my G12, but only 5 scorecards show on my phone app.
