    • Here are my early tests with Virb360.

Here is my best time lapse

One one exception I'm very happy with the camera. What is disappointing is that photo time lapse (or any photos) are limited to 0.5 seconds despite the fact that the Vrib 360 is advertised with shutter speed form 30sec to 1/8000sec; which really limits use for sunset and later. I've talked to every channel of Garmin support I can find, and while some have been very supportive and pointed me at possible solutions, I don't have any idea if Garmin has any plans to fix this. I may return it if I don't get any positive solution to this. I don't need it fixed today, but need to know there are plans to fix it. I've even learned how to control the camera with the API, but no API methods currently to address this. Here is link to post if anyone has feedback or interest in it.

              • I did a track day at MSR Houston with NASA-Texas. A couple of laps in , I had a controlled off when I tried going into a turn a little hot. The car setup is in the video description on YouTube.

                      • It's been a while since I've used my Virb XE, but here's my latest video. This time it's a flight in a floatplane in Fiji. Enjoy

                        Cheers,

Wow, Brettkp, that is beautiful! I forgot how good VIRB XE's video quality could be. The scenery doesn't hurt, either

                          • Cheers eggy78. The secret I've found is to upscale to 4k prior to uploading to YouTube. It seems to make a pretty noticeable difference to the quality when viewed at 1080p.
