  • Fastest way of importing from Virb Elite into Virb Edit

    Hi All

I currently have a couple of Virb Elite cameras and a Virb Xe that I use regularly.

I usually copy videos off them by taking the SD cards out and using a USB 3.0 card reader to copy the files directly to my NAS.
This of course does not copy the g metrics.

If I import into Virb edit using the SD card readers it works fine for the Virb XE - Virb Edit correctly recognises it as a virb camera and imports both the video and G-metrics.

For the Virb Elite however it does not recognise the SD cards as a virb camera so I have to import the video file manually - with No G-metrics.

It seems that the only way of importing video and data from a Virb Elite is by copying it REALLY slowly using the USB 2.0 camera - not only that you can only copy from one camera at a time so if I have footage on all 3 cameras to copy it is REALLY slow.

Is there a better way of doing this that I am missing?
