  • Cannot connect Training Centre to Forerunner 305 Mac OS 10.6

    Hi,

    I'm hoping someone may be able to help me with a rather frustrating situation.

    I have a forerunner 305 and a MacBook pro and an iMac. Both running Snow Leopard.

    I cannot get the training centre software to send/receive from the device - I just get a message saying

    no fitness device was found. Please connect your fitness device and try again.

    i've cleaned the contacts, re-booted etc, but nothing seems to work.

    I have updated to the Beta version of Training Centre. I have also downloaded the webupdater, but again, this does not see the device.

    I did swap the USB Cables over and got a message saying that my device was in a bad state, so it seems to be something relating to the USB connection.

    Can anyone help me?

    Oh - and by the way - it works on my MacBook pro, but not my iMac!!!

      USB Hub

      Don't use a USB hub to connect your ForeRunner to your iMac. Connect it directly.
