I am new to this forum and new to the GPS on the wrist. Can anyone chime in and tell me what experience they've had (good or not so good) using GPS watch for nordic ski training (skate and classic)? Running and cycling have limited arm movement compared with nordic poling and I'm curious how this up and down swinging motion may affect the GPS capabilities. Also, I assume the watch must be worn on the outside of warm clothing in winter. Does cold temp. kill the battery life of the 305/310xt/610 as I would expect? Thank you for the thoughts. I'm really looking forward to buying a Garmin and your information will really help./C
