All file repairs are done using the Fit File Repair Tool.

I am not a Garmin employee and I am not affiliated with them in any manner - other than I own three of their products.

                • hi adrianaangel,

FFRT reports the file as 100% corrupt.

Just had a closer look at the file and the contents aren't those of a .fit file. Have you tried to recover a deleted file using file recovery software?

                  cheers

                      • ok! I'll try this... but the file has not been deleted. it is still on my edge 520 and I downloaded a copy to my pc....

                        update: tried it... no luck!
the file was never deleted. i finished my ride and it wouldnt sync to garmin connect so I used the cable to download it to my computer, and I have it both in my pc and my garmin.
yesterday my garmin died (for the first time ever it would not turn on) so I had to restart it and it looked like it was working but do you think it's ruined?
i made such a big effort in a couple of segments today and I am so sad that this file is 100% corrupt

here's a picture of my garmin. the ride it's there but I can't even access it to see the summary and stuff

                        • Well if the file hasn't been deleted then there is no need to try and recover. The contents of the file that you downloaded from your Edge isn't those of a .fit file.

                              Hello Gabriele,
The FFRT opened your file and it looks good. You can total up the individual laps to see if they match your official stats.
