  • Will Garmin respond to users upset with Bing?

As there has been no answer from Garmin on other threads in which GC users name many concerns regarding the switch from Google Maps to Bing, this new thread is established based on Garmin's advice below point 2:

    Hi all,

With the new Forums come new ways to try to get your problems solved. While sending a support query directly to an Admin, Moderator, or to the Contact Us link below, it is actually a slower process for you to get an answer. Rather than sending a direct message:

    1. Search for your answer on the Forums.
    2. If you don't find the answer start a new thread with your question.
    3. Contact Garmin Support.

Thanks for your understanding and patience.

    switched to breadcrumbs

    I switched to Breadcrumbs http://www.gobreadcrumbs.com
They use Google Earth and Google Maps what is way better than the crappy Bing maps.
They don't provide the fully statistics functionality like Garmin does but for you can upload photos and videos and share your tracks, thats what I use it for.

BING maps are primitive and completely NOT updated in my country. A huge step back for Garmin. Let´s unite and ask for google maps back!!!
      Garmin, you are killing GarminConnect!!!
