Can't connect Edge 1030

  • Can't connect Edge 1030

    I updated to the new version on my iPhone 7 Plus, and tried to connect my new Edge 1030. I can select the Edge 1030 from the list of devices, but then it says, "New Version Available." I can select Upgrade or Cancel. When I select Upgrade, it goes to the App Store and shows the app with the Open button - because I already have the newest version. I click Open... and around we go.

    I've tried restarting my phone, and that doesn't resolve it. I tried deleting the app and reinstalling it, and that doesn't resolve it.

    Any suggestions?

    We are aware of this issue and are working on a resolution ASAP and apologize for the inconvenience. Please use Garmin Express to connect your device with Garmin Connect.

      Took many tries, but Garmin Express finally sees the 1030!

        This issue should be resolved and you should be able to pair with your phone at this time.
