      This is very frustrating. Considering the cost of these watches, I would expect all the features to work. But I also get that nothing is perfect and issues like these do arise. In these cases though, and with so many people reporting this issue, I would expect this to become a priority and not just added to a backlog (if that's even been done. I'm not sure, there has been no feedback that I can find). Not cool Garmin, you're making Android look bad. Losing to an iPhone sucks.

      No issues being experienced with iPhone & Fenix 3.(seriously?!)

        Bump.
        Very annoying.
        Fenix 3 HR, Android 6.
        Had to disable all notifications from the Connect app because of this.

        Garmin, please fix.

                  Hi,

                  I have my Fenix 5S+ only a week. I have given all required permissions at start but removed some, just as the earlier posters in this thread did. My Samsung S9 is on Android 8.0.0 and has this issue too. I am very unpleasantly surprised at the age of this thread while seeking for a solution, this is very negative !
