  • Pretty sure this has been suggested a couple times but PLEASE make a non-dark version of the app. Not only does it look outdated, but readability is improved a lot with dark letters on light background. Take Polar Flow, Strava, TP, what have you, they are all on white/bright background, and are aesthetically much more pleasing. It is so much easier to work with the web version of GC for that reason (and some other navigation/control issues).

    • Ability to get a report of which widgets, activities or inbuilt items (e.g. blutooth, wi-fi, music etc) used what percentage of battery on the Garmin device. That would really help to figure out what to turn on?off to help with battery management.

Same like you get on phones... Might not be easy to do but would sure help!

      • This is for an improvement on Garmin connect for the mobile Device. After a workout uploads (example a bike ride) you can view the laps under the tab that is an arrow going in a circle. If you rotate the phone, you can view additional info such as avg speed, avg HR etc by scrolling right. As you scroll right the lap column stays in view. However if you scroll down to view more laps (around 9 laps on my phone) you can no longer see the headers at the top of screen (such as avg speed, avg HR etc). Can you lock the top categories, like you do for laps, so that when you scroll down you can tell which category you are looking at.

        • Adding a Bike maintenance log like ridewithgps does!

whilst this sort of readability is great for the average person, some people, especially those with things like dyslexia, suffer with black text on white background.

I myself always switch apps to a dark theme if they have one, e.g. twitter, as I find it easier to read.

I think all apps should have a selection really.. its not that hard to have a button that changes the colours

TBH though, i'd rather they focused on getting the quality of things like the all heart rate and calorie tracking fixed over a cosmetic issue like this.

            • Maybe or not this was already suggested but I really miss my personal goals in the mobile app. Now I can see and create them only in the Garmin Connect webpage.

              • Proper iPad support would be nice, rather than a zoomed iPhone screen?

                • Please fix the Connect app. Keeps crashing since yesterday after DST perioid ended...

                  • A simple, working App would be nice. My VSHR doesn’t pair any more since a couple of months ago software update!

Should be able to apply same logic as weight tracking. Ideally create a widget that automatically updates App.
Are you unable to feel thirst? Why else would you need an app to track water consumption?

                      • I’d like to be able to dig down further into each interval after a swim to see individual length times, especially whilst the length counter is unreliable. It helps identify just how many lengths have been split into two. I know this info can be found on the web version and in the device itself but being able to see it on the app would be preferable for me.

                        • Google fit integration. There's apple healthkit integration, why isn't there google fit integration?

                          • Open the GCM to beta testers.
this should be a must have that Garmin should apply. The last versions of GCM, have been marked by bluetooth problems, where devices can't reconnect anymore.
Open a beta program to the community to help you on the development and releasing stable versions.

                            • I also agree with a black on white view instead of white on black view, it's hurting my eyes! And also I'd like to be able to select my own sidebar items in both activity and health stats, as I do not use or cannot use all those items because I don't have vivosmart or other, I have a Vivofit 4, so I don't need to be confused and irritated by non-usable menus. While we are on that topic, please don't make me tap twice to get to my menu on the sidebar (i.e. don't have a collapsable menu but rather a full list). But most importantly, please can you make the main view i.e. landing page an option to select on the sidebar, I hate going in and out of the app, just to get back to that screen, it's a total waste of time and energy ! Also could you please enable GPS tracking with my smartphone, I know my Vivofit 4 doesn't have a GPS, but my phone does, wherever I walk / cycle or run, it's such a basic requirement nowadays for social media to be able to share where you walked, I'd hate to miss out on that ! And whlie you are at fixing the sidebar, could you not just as well have the bottom menu appear on all screens? That way we can always have a look at it ! Thank you !

                              • Please add the ability to create a course from my current location to an address in the mobile app. I know this is possible on Garmin Connect on the web, but I don't see this option on the mobile app (v4.12.1 on iOS 12.0.1). You can create courses on the mobile app, but only as a distance and direction from your current (or other selected) location. If I'm away from my computer and want to navigate to a particular destination there is no way to do this. I understand that this is possible on some devices, but for those of us with older/less expensive devices, it would be nice to create the route on our phone and then send it to our device.

It would also be helpful to show my current location on the course maps in the Garmin Connect mobile app. This way you could follow a course on the mobile app even without using a garmin device. I don't see this option even though I have enabled location services for the app.
