  • Downloaded City Navigator, not compatible with Edge Explore?!

I purchased City Navigator UK so I could search for full post codes as suggested around the forums for other Edge products.

Now GarminExpress will not let me install it, not recongnising it as a compatible product?
I purchased it through the EdgeExplore support page!

    https://support.garmin.com/en-GB/?fa...archQuery=maps

    Have I just wasted £35?!
Says downloads are non refundable even though I'm unable to download it.

Can you see your device in Windows Explorer?
Currently own Drive 50LMT-D, Nuvi 2508LMT-D, Nuvi 1490LMT, Nuvi 1310, Montana 650T, Etrex 20, and use Basecamp, OSM mapping
Previously owned Etrex Legend H, Mio Navman and used Mapsource
(please note that I am not employed by Garmin, but am a long term user of Garmin software and hardware)

If Express is actually saying it's not compatible then you'll need to contact Product Support for help.

Thank you, I've since contacted support and the maps are indeed not compatible. Which is somewhat confusing as it seems to be a mapping product and accepted OpenStreetMaps just fine.

Support has issued a refund in this case. So thanks Garmin for sorting it.
