  • Training Status 'Unproductive'

Hi, I’ve noticed this week that my Training Status has dropped very quickly from Peaking to Unproductive. My VO2 Max was 51 and now down to 49 in just over a week. My Training Effect scores for Aerobic & Anaerobic have been high all week. Any reason for this drop?

I've noticed that the Edge 1030 and Garmin app/website the Training Load and VO2 Max don't always match.

Some rides don't update the Training loads and VO2 Max figures on the Garmin site/app even though the 1030 the values have changed.

Does your 1030 show different values?

When it does match, Garmin connect still misses data on the VO2 max and training load graphs from previous rides.

My edge520 always synced VO2 max detail after every ride.

Which powermeter do you use for measurement? Any change there? Does your ftp go down as well?

I use a Wahoo Kickr indoors and Garmin Vector 3 when outside. All the data looks fine there. FTP doesn't go down as it has been manually set by myself.

You could check your Kickr calibration vs. The numbers reported by your vector-3. In my case I had similar problems with my trainer being out of calibration - it was reporting higher which lead to an unproductive status once I recalibrated / used the vector 3..
Other than that check your activities for avg heart rate vs normalized power.
