macOS Catalina does not work with Basecamp 4.8.4

Just installed MacOS Catalina.

Basecamp does not work anymore. I am very disappointed that Garmin still seems to stick to older software and does not give the right attention to their users.

And now? Hope to be taken seriously as a Garmin user by Garmin.

Hello, I am actually lucky: After update to Catalin, the Basecamp Icon in my finder was crossed out...Just downloaded Basecamp again. installed Basecamp again and it works again...seem easy..:-)

Is anyone else having problems with Garmin Express in Mac OS Catalina? Every time I download the 64 bit version, my machine grinds to a halt.

You first want to check the forum for Garmin Express on the Mac, and if there is an issue, post there.

This forum is for 3rd part app development with Connect IQ, and not things like Basecamp or Garmin Express.

I ended up having to reload OS Catalina. But first I phoned Garmin and they walked me through removing all the files and reloading Express. Made no difference. I also found that I could not even plug my Garmin watch into charge on an older USB hub. Only a new one that works off USB C. Just using my phone to sync for now.

That worked for me. I moved the old BaseCamp with the faded icon to the trash, and installed a new BaseCamp from the App Store, and it worked.
