Is there a ballpark ETA on when the 3.1.x FW will be released for the EDGE devices?
Will it always just be the 1030, or will other devices like the 830 and 530 eventually be added to the roadmap?
Thanks

The beta FW for the Edge 1030, 830, and 530 was just released on Oct 1st. The announcement is in the device specific section of the forum. The final release will probably be in a couple weeks based on past history.
Should the SDK be able to simulate BluetoothLowEnergy classes on the edge devices?
I'm trying to get the NordicThingy52 sample to run on the 1030 and I get the following error:
Error: Symbol Not Found Error Details: Failed invoking <symbol> Stack: - <init>() at \connectiq-sdk-win-3.1.5-2019-10-01-3bd844f5f\samples\NordicThingy52\source\ProfileManager.mc:4 0x1000173d
If you check "about" on the 1030, you need to have firmware with a 3.1.x version of CIQ. What do you have?
I'm in the SDK trying to simulate the Edge 1030.
I'm running the latest SDK connectiq-sdk-win-3.1.5-2019-10-01-3bd844f5f.
Looks like the 3.1.5 doesn't support the 3.1.x features for the 1030 yet, so you will need to use a different target in the sim until there's an SDK update.
I suspected as much. Thanks for the confirmation.
Hopefully it will be in the next one.
