HI friends,

I bought nuvi 1390 before three months. When I power ON 1390 "stucks" on Garmin logo. There is message "loading maps" and complete freezze. When I connect to PC via usb, there is garmin logo and green progress bar, stops at about 10% nothing happenes, seems that boot is dead. Is there possibility to send me file that can boot from memory card because my PC doesn't recogniza device?

I have the same problem--contacted tech support via email. They e-mailed two options including downloading an update, but neither worked. Tech support sent an address to return unit to. Downside, I'm w/o unit for 10-14 businiess days. Which seems a bit long, however I have to pay shipping to have unit repaired. I think this is totally wrong--cust rep keeps stressing at least I don't have to pay for the shipping back!!:mad:
Will not be purchasing or recommending GARMIN in the future
