I like to occasionally mix things up a bit by adding a geocache to a GPS and then running to it.

So - I went to the official geocache site, found a cache, hit 'send to gps' the communicator plugin took over and told be it has been saved. "To gps" apparently.

I checked the gpx file and it's definitely there on the laptop, but how do I access it on the 310?

It doesn't come up in the "Go to location" list which I thought would be the obvious thing.

Note: I didn't buy it for cacheing, I just want to use it occasionally for said passtime.

Thoughts?

I have firmware 2.6 and current Ant and Communicator versions.

Unfortunately you are not able to send Geocaches or a GPX file to a wireless device.

You may however input the coordinates for the cache manually.

To manually input coordinates on the Forerunner 310XT select GPS from the Main Menu. Then select Save Location. Here you can edit your current coordinates to input the coordinates for the cache.

Booooo.

I mean - thanks for the info .. but BOOOOO.. co-ordinates are time consuming - but I guess if I'm only chasing the odd one.

Cheers.

Me too.
Plugin stated successful load.
Anyway, there's no waypoint stored on 310XT.
